“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising
benefits in this life and in the life to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8 (NLT)

The word of God teaches us that “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 (KJV).  Undoubtedly, God has called us all to His salvation and eternal life with Him.  However, we want God to make distinction of us in this world as light shines in the midst of darkness (Malachi 3:18).  We are not only called, but we need to do our part to make our election and calling sure as the Word of God commands us in 2 Peter 1:10 (NIV): “Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.”

We believe that every believer is called to be a leader.  Not just a leader of one but a leader of multitudes.  Leadership is an influence and not a position. So, we need to be developed in our character and skills to provide godly influence to those who are in connection with us in life, as the word of God says in Psalm 78:72 (NIV): “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart, with skillful hands he led them.”

Let’s be used by God in our remaining years on earth! Let us be developed and encouraged to serve God effectively to lead our loved ones and communities back to the Lordship of Jesus! Let us grow and become an faithful ambassador of Christ with ministry of bringing people back to God (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)!
